Hi, I have a Samsung U32H850UMUXEN computer monitor. When it is switched on the image displays normally but then the colours fade and the picture becames washed out as if the brightness was turned up.
I have though this was a problem with the t-con board and so I opened it up only to find that the t-con board is built into the display panel. It has a chip on the board which I think controls the gamma information called an IN8205a. I cannot find any information on this chip other than a few Chinese websites but there is no datasheet available or pinout.
I used my hotair station to remove the chip from a second t-con board which has the same chip on but it appears to be a BGA chip with 0.4mm solder balls on. I think that when taking the chip off some of the pads have come off also.
Basically has anyone ever reflowed a chip like this successfully and where to get information and a supplier to get an used chip with all its pads on?
