Modified meter lead for breadboards.

I often have need for more than one meter on breadboard projects. I modify the leads with pins that fit smoothly into the breadboard. Jameco part number 185421. Cost about $0.07 each purchased in quantity of 10. Crimp, solder and heat shrink.
Favorite meter currently is from Electronic Goldmine. Large display digits, about 1" tall. Short on the AC Volts scale, only two settings. But also has a 60 Hz square wave output/ Otherwise has the usual hFE scale and 10 Amp DC and semiconductor settings. Not bad for $5.00. MM2003 by SE.

Attached. Picture of the breadboards, leads and LED exercise with a red LED. The small breadboard off to the side is the boosted LM78L05 voltage regulator and two variable voltage sources. Towards the bottom two voltmeters are shown. Inside the box are two 15 Volt sources of AA batteries and stuff storage.
The power rails on the main breadboard have +15 V, -15 V, +5 V and ground.
The main breadboard is mounted to a replaceable basswood board. I replace the main board every few years. It gets heavy use.

There is ample room on the smaller breadboard to modify the variable voltage sources to various configurations. Most dual op amps would work. I just have a lot of LM358s.
