MIL-HDBK-217 Reliability Analysis

W

WayneL

Hi

Does anyone have a spreadsheet/program I could use to calculate reliability
of a circuit i.e. using say MIL-HDBK-217, rather than typing it all in from
the manual?
Or a suggestion of a "low cost" package?
S/W packages, of such, seem to be very expensive!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

And have your typed-in figures certified by independent "on looker".
Or you may spent uncount hours repeating similar mistake.

Those programs are pain in the neck, hence the value!
S/W packages, of such, seem to be very expensive!

When designing mission critical cirquits we had to engage the "bean
counting" department, in their statistical wisdom, to give us something
that can be presented to the shaking customer(s), so they say "yes!".
It cost us to have something to say.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A quiet "gossip" over cup of coffee with someone who lives in such
conditions regularly may put the price in proportion.

I don't envy you.

Good luck

Use MIL-TFD-41 instead.
