microvitec proscan 17sx monitor

I have a microvitec proscan 17sx

model numer 17VE49DDMV2K

a really nice monitor, cost me a a package a few years ago

i turn it the computer off the other day and i could here the monitor clicking on and off

when i rebooted the computer the monitor althought eh light comes on the bottom the unit no longer works

its like it can't detect the signal from the computer

anyone have any idea where i can start tracking it down?

Listen for static (high voltage) when you turn it on. Check cable and
connections. Try another monitor.
If you dont hear or feel any static or get an on screen menu then it
requires more troubleshooting inside. If you do have high voltage or an OSm
then check all the cable, replace them, etc.
