MCP8520 MCU --how to build a CAN network and program it using MikroC

I have BIGPIC6 development board with a 8520 MCU installed. I need to find code written
in MikroC to make a CAN network do data collection and storage. Any books on this
subject would be helpful also. thanks for any help. Motzey
