Someone is sending me one of these, presumed working, but without manuals or leads.

Does anyone know where I can find a manual (google doesn't :().

Has anyone used one of these things?

The mini lab 603B is a signal generator, power supply etc, not an oscilloscope.

But thanks for looking anyway :)

I noticed that Test-Equipment-Auctions (an eBay seller) sold one some time back - and offered a manual on CD with the unit. They might be willing to sell you just a copy of the manual. They're located in Australia. Their contact info was posted - but it might look too much like spam to post up here.

Thanks. I've contacted them. Now to see if they're interested in helping me...

Yep, we came to an agreement for a pdf copy of the manual. Thanks for the tip Militoy

Some of the controls seem a little off. The manual has a full circuit diagram, parts list and board layout, so repairs will be as convenient as they're ever likely to be.

I'm glad they were able to help you. I noticed after posting, that they seem to still have more of the same model for sale. I've never seen anything like these - are they made in Australia?

Yes they were.

They were clearly made for "educational" use, the manual having "exercises" such as how to make a schmitt trigger, an AM transmitter etc.

I'm planning to use it to make breadboarding a little more convenient.

The only drawback is that it's a lot larger than I imagined :)

Steve, I have a model 603 (not 603B).

Can you give me or sell me a copy of the manual please.

I don't mind measuring voltages/waveforms in mine if ever you get a tricky fault in yours.

Thanks Steve, what a super website.

I have had a huge cleanup but I'll see what's useful and upload any manuals.
