OK . . . indeed you do have yourself a set of 8ufd / 50 volts non polarized electrolytic capacitors.
I'm looking at the whole circuit board conglomeration and knowing that THIS is not being from the REAL ROCK OLA hey days of the 1940's.
BUT they did either get bought out by some big sugar daddy, or restructured such that the Rockola brand of juke boxes were still existant in the '70's.
Wit the push on connectors I relate this boards function of those capacitors as being in the proximity of some .low power, geared down motors
being related to rotating the record storage rack or /and / its associated puller arm, transversing a pulled record from the rack to turntable platter..
Another use of a nonpolarized filter would be in a tone divider network associated with the power amp to woofer / squawker / tweeter speakers.
BUT I can't see a pair of 12 or 15 inch speakers being in a unit like this,but a modern SS amplifier . . . . .just like the modern control electronics being associated with the rest of the units mechanical control.
I would tend to suspicion no fault with them . . . and indeed . . . the approximate 5th week of 1980 manufacture . . ..AND . . .235 is being Mallorys assiged EIA code number.
Now go JUKE that box !
