Low Voltage Disconnect 12V for NiMH battery 7.2V

Hi, I would like to know if a LVD 12V can be used with my 6 series of 1.2V of NiMH cells? So my total battery voltage would be 7.2V, and as I saw the LVD's specification before it will disconnects the load if the 12V battery goes lower than 10.5V..

So my question is, will that 12V LVD works against my 7.2V battery? I need about 1V threshold/cell as an indicator of battery drained, so it will be 6V to be disconnected.

If that LVD won't work, is there any other option to disconnect my 7.2V battery whenever it reaches 6V?

Welcome to EP.
That Low Voltage Disconnect will not work ,
it's spec is far from what you need.
But, you can make a DIY circuit that will do what you need.
