Hi.
I live in the Highlands and have a very cold kitchen. This means that he fridge acts as a heat pump at sub zero temperatures and defrosts.
Has anyone got an idea for a thermostat that will turn the fridge off when the temperature drops below zero ? Preferably a plug in to the mains device that can control the fridge.
The obvious answer is to heat the kitchen, but as this is a lean-to with no insulation, and I am often away, an "off at low temperature" thermostat would be more cost effective and energy efficient.
Thanks
Chris
