Methinks you got yourself more than just resistors.
Did you have a question about them, or did you want us to envy your good fortune?
we tried that at Beaulieu but not much interestSadly there are only a relatively few different values and LOTS of them. Such amounts don't command high prices as no-one 'really' needs 5,000 of the same value resistor etc......
You'd realise far more money if you sold them as smaller bags (say 10 of each value) but that means a bit of work....
Too bad you're so far away, I'd take 'em off your hands.
I don't know what-all is in your neck of the woods.
If you don't want to try eBay, maybe you could check into any Amateur Radio clubs in your area, or any electronics hobby-type clubs that you might be able to make a deal with. If not the clubs themselves, they may sponsor 'swap meets', where members and other interested people meet to buy and sell electronic components between one another. If all that fails, maybe a school that sponsors electronics classes in your area might be interested in them.
Here in the States people can donate to a school and claim a tax credit for that. I don't know how it works where you are, maybe they might buy the lot from you.
I'd take them too but, as mentioned, the multiplicity makes them worth less than you're asking. Problem would also be collection/delivery - you're looking at £25/30 for postage on top....
