Lost Ademco Vista 10SE installer code

I lost the installer code on my Ademco Vista 10SE system.

How do I get a new installer code?

Then following sequential process DID NOT recover the installer code;

Power down the system (including battery)
Power back up
* then #
20 DOES NOT appear
Hit *20 DOES NOTHING
System installer code does not appear
*99 does nothing

after rereading your op you say * then #. wrong. * and # is correct.

Installer is out of business.

Worst case, if you can't get the code you can replace the panel. The current version is Vista-10P. Some very early keypads don't
work with the newest panels though. Also, to program the system you should use a 6160 keypad.

Hey Bass why trying to sell the poor man a new panel when you clearly read
that he was pushing * THEN #
when he need to push both AT THE SAME TIME..and that will give him access to
the panel programming...

and don't start about not wanting to tell the guys how to do it cause other
could use that info in a bad manner..you already posted the password and
username of the web site that give access to all the ademco panel
programming....

too bad we were there and watching in case you try to make another victim

Petem,

You're absolutely right! There's always someone who says, "you can't
do it"....and then in the same breath imply you need to buy a new one.

The words, "NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS" on a device are only for people
of little or no ability.

I never said you *can't* do it. I said *if* you can't they're not expensive to replace. Glad you were able to get it sorted out.
