LM567 tone decoder input signal biasing?

The data sheet for the LM567 indicates on one example test circuit that the input signal for the test was 100kHz + 5V.

Does that mean a 100kHz signal riding on a 5VDC? Or did they mean 1mV rms + 5VDC? It seems like comparing apples and oranges.

Can anyone clarify this for me?

if you are referring to the test circuit on page 9
its referring to a 100kHz input and a power supply of 5V

5V on pin 4

the amplitude of the 100kHz in is likely to be in milliVolts or 10's mV
