LitepanelsMicro LED On-Camera Light

I am new to the site. I am an amateur to fixing the circuit board. Now I have a LitepanelsMicro LED On-Camera Light, accidentally I connected the wrong power adapter and fried something. now the light turns on for a millisecond and turns off. looking at the board I fried a chip, I can only read half of what it says. It start With "LTQY 8144 " the 8 maybe 2 . can someone tell me what this may be ( fuse, step-down ect) please help

Thank you

The LTQY notification 'decodes' (in an SMD online reference) to the LT1961EMS8E 1.5A step up switching regulator which, with the adjacent inductor/diode may be the answer.

That said, the device can withstand a 25V input so how you sporgged it is anyone's guess - reverse polarity perhaps?

Digikey and others should stock it - use the LT1961 code to search for it but ensure you get the MSOP package size when ordering.
