Li-ion Batteries.

Hi,
I was looking to upgrade a laptop battery I have, which doesn't hold much charge. I am looking to change the individual batteries within. I just have 1 question.

The total rating for the battery pack (x6 batteries) is: +11.1V, 4400mAh, 46Wh.

Does this mean each battery is 1/6 of the total rating. e.g 1 battery = 1.85V, 733.3mAh, 7.6Wh?

The Wh rating will be close, but the batteries will be Lithium cells with a terminal voltage between 3 and 4 volts.

Most likely these batteries are connected as 3 sets of pairs of batteries. Each pair is in parallel and these are placed in series (alternatively there are 2 sets of three cells in series that are placed in parallel.)

The battery will fall to a little under 9V when flat, and rise to a little over 12V when fully charged.
