LH2715 Advanced Micro Devices

This can package was made in 1975.
I just spent two months sparing with AMD. (And Google has nothing).
There's no mistake, it clearly has the AMD logo on it.
AMD says they can't find any information on this device.
Anybody have an old 1975 era AMD data book, or know where I can obtain a
data sheet on this?

I would hope that the Library of Congress has a copy. I'm pretty sure they're supposed to collect everything ever published in the USA.
However I've never used that library myself, so I don't know what they're like to deal with.

Wow, I'll give them a shot. Thanks for the contact point.
I found it hard to believe AMD would 'search' for data on one of their own devices for
two months, and then tell me they couldn't find anything.
Maybe this Luke Systems got the old data sheets.

Still checking. Got four different phone numbers for two locations in CA for Luke Systems, they're all disconnected, as well as the web-site address.
Hope these guys are still in business, but it's not looking good right now.

I'll try Pacific Softworks. Still no luck with Luke Systems.
I found some vendors (like CTG) who list Luke Systems as a company they handle, but
when I inquire to these other companies for info on Luke Systems, they ignore me.
I'm beginning to think Luke Systems folded.

The part number seems to be 34335. LH2751 might be a variant. Unfortunately that is no help either, because I cannot find anything about 34335.

34335 is the Manufacturer Identification Code for Advanced Micro Devices.
It's a code used for a national database that identifies companies.
If you look in a Tektronix or Hewlett Packard manual, you will find a page of manufacturers
that supplied the parts to build the instrument. Each company has their own 5-digit code.
I'm still hoping I get a data sheet on this from somewhere.

We're getting toward the hard, concentrated stuff near the bottom of the barrel:
There's a pretty good chance the data sheet is held privately by a person I know in Wellington, New Zealand. However, it would be a fairly large effort, and he would need a convincing motive. His child has needs and his time is heavily booked.
You probably can't give him his time back but that child needs money!
Cash often does the trick.
