Level shifter - how??

Hi,

I have a single 0-5V source that I want to convert to a -2.5 to 2.5V
source instead.. can anyone tell me what the name of such a circuit
is? or even have a link/reference on such a circuit?

Thanks!
Soren

You had me puzzled there until I realised it was to avoid using a
negative voltage although he'll need one anyway to get the -2.5 output.

Can't reduce the parts count though.

Bad choise of words CONNECT while I blelive you means shift 0 to -2.5 and 5v to 2.5v. just add a cap in series and connect a puldown resistor to -2.5v and you will get -2.5 to 2.5v but that will be passive not active.
