Hi, I need some help please. I don´t understand where is the overvoltage protection? Between Point 1 and 2 or where? From LCD power supply board´s circuit diagram Thanks a lot.

The schematics you posted are only partial. So from what you posted I would venture a wild guess and say those Zener Diodes.

do you understand how a switchmode PSU works ? maybe not ?

SMPS's use a feedback voltage to provide voltage regulation in this circuit it consists of the parts I have circled in red
