Kodak Carousel Projector

I have a Kodak Carousel Projector 760H. I have been looking at my color slides in a tray that holds 80 slides. One of them got stuck and after I pulled it out and started to view again, the forward and reverse buttons on the projector and the remote do not work. Help1

The nylon gears used in that line of projectors are prone to embrittlement and breakage due to material incompatibility with the grease used to lubricate them. One symptom of breakage is inability to advance or reverse the tray position. This may or may not be the cause of failure in your case.

You can replace the grease with a nylon compatible type such as Superlube Silicone Lubricating Grease (teflon filled silicone grease), product 92003, to prevent further damage.

|Time to 'get modern' and have the slides professionally scanned for display on TV/PC/Tablet (and forwarding to friends/relatives etc)
