Kenwood aerial tuner - help?

I know this may be a bit, sort of, OT for this group, but does anyone
out there have any information whatsoever - user or technical - about
a Kenwood KAT-1 automatic antenna tuning unit (ATU) that works with HF
radio?

I have been given one but with nothing to tell me the connections -
specifically the function and how to operate the two control lines
marked TS and TT that link the ATU to the radio.

Any help gratefully received.
