Hi,
First post on this forum....
I am hoping someone will be able to give me some time to sort out project I have started. I have a JVC SEA-80 Graphic equalizer with problem(s).
Current status is that it powers up, the equalizer functions in that the frequency sliders and the buttons all work as do the power indicator lights. The thing that doesn't work at all is the display.
I have changed the caps on the power distribution board to get it this far. I also have the service manual so can email the schematics (too big to upload). Can also be downloaded from http://www.hifiengine.com/manuals/jvc/sea-80.shtml.
I have tried various things to fix the display (caps replaced, some IC's replaced, but to no avail. I really need some help to diagnose the root of the problem. I suspect it is on the graphic driver pcb somewhere.......any takers?
Thanks and regards,
Pete
