Hi,
I have a JVC model PC-X106BK "boom Box" AM/FM/CD/Cassette portable in my
shop for service. I do not have a service manual.
The owner said she went to turn it on, and nothing happened ("dead"),
There is no display, and nothing happens when it is plugged into AC or
when using batteries.
I checked fuses (AOK). The power supply output has 16V
and 5.6V DC outputs. The power button switch is fine and there
is 5.6VDC present at the connector to the control PCB.
Anyone have a similar experience?
