I am not an engineer but spent 2 years in electronics repair school in the 70s, passed the associate CET and state licensing exams back then. I went back to school later to get into laboratory medicine and since my electronics work has been building/modifying/repairing my own audio gear. And occasionally repairing something for a friend.
I seen some interesting projects by members when I was browsing the forums so I joined.
