I need to start looking at jobs and apprenticeships, with my last year in y11, sixth form is coming up soon (if I can get in). I know that I want to do A level maths, physics and computing, and I know that I want to work in computing/electronics.
I have a bit of free time to spare for learning outside of school. Are there any specialised skills that are especially useful? I have been looking both at employers and job advertisement websites, and some would like special focuses, for example image processing or at experience.
Can anybody recommend any good options for apprenticeships in the UK, preferably Midlands/south west/west.
