Is TVS diode fast enough to protect MCU from MOSFET malfunction (mosfet, CMOS, TVs, electronics)?

It depends on how it is used and what kind of failure happens. Usually additional current limiting resistors will be used. TVS are suitable for suppressing pulses only. If a failure leads to permanent overvoltage, the TVS will in most cases be destroyed.
Look into the application section of the datasheet of the TVS.
