Intrinsic carrier concentration

Hi,

I know this is more like a maths problem than an electronics one but i really need this so bad, so "electronics forums" was the first thing i searched for.

My problem:

I have the intrinsic carrier concentration formula
attachment.php

I need T as a function of ni.

Thanks a lot,
Dren

a bit hard to answer when probably no-one here would know what any of the notations stand for

ie. what is.... ni, B, T, e, eg, and so on ??????

I input your equation to mathcad14 then asked it to solve for T and got an answer as shown in the attachment. I'm not really sure what that all means except that it must be difficult to find T as a function of N.

Here's an idea.

Some calculators can solve for X. That is X is your T. Just input the known values on the calculator. This assumes that the only unknown variable is T.
