Interfacing Sharp UP-35xx via serial or jtag?

Have an cash register Sharp UP-3515 that doesn't write to SD card anymore. So, I'd like to link the register to a computer as a back-office ; I see an ethernet port, but it didn't work ; There are also some serial ports (but, i don't know the protocol.) I suppose there is also a jtag port but I don't know where..

Is there somebody who has more experience interfacing this register? Can you point me to some info?
