Wanted: In need of a voltage regulator/semiconductor!

Hi guys and girls. Just joined this forum to see if someone out there can help me. I'm after a semiconductor or voltage regulator, excuse my lack of knowledge.
The part number is TLE7G-2V50 or just 7G-2V50. It's apparently made by Infineon. It's soldered in to the pcb board of my vw van instrument cluster. It's dead and I need another but they are impossible to find.

Um yes your right, I could only find some on a IC supplier from China. They might have been a special for VW. I can't even find a datasheet to try and find an alternative. Do you have a datasheet?

Hi. No I dont. All I have is a part number and a dead speedo. Haha. I've contacted Infineon direct to see what they say.
Can't believe the whole cluster is dead due to just a small and cheap component.
I've tried a fair few avenues but all fruitless.
May have to be a second hand cluster then take out the regulator for my cluster.
