The more information we get the more capable we are of supplying an answer.
Where did you get THIS information? How did you determine it was a 'dual de-mod/filter IC'??
It is written on it.

Is that a label stuck on top? If it is then there might be something under it that helps.
But it looks suspiciously like an ASIC to me (application specific) so the only source would be the OEM.

It is not a label stuck on it. It is out of production so it is impossible to find the oem. There might be the equivalent one (I hope
).I think you're completely stuck then. Without a schematic to determine its operation you can't even 'guess' how to replace it.
