my mag 254 shots off every 2 hours i let it cool for half hour and i reboot it and works for another 2 hours and so on and on, can anybody help me thank you.

Try relocating it to somewhere with a better airflow/cooling. I'm guessing it's either stuck in a cubbyhole or on top of the TV?
