HP cross refernce wanted for 261338 or its datasheet

I`d like to know OEM analogy of IC EEPROM 261338 in case of DIP8 (probably it is 24Cxx or PCF8582). This IC does not work in my scope. Pin4 is GND, pin8 is +supply.

Considering it's an eeprom, there's probably important values stored on it. Do you have access to them? And a programmer to initialise them?

*some* scopes store factory set calibration parameters which, if missing, mean your scope cannot be calibrated. And they differ between units.
