how to convert to digital output

hello friends,

i need some help.
Now I am a final year student at a university. I got a project, to me it is very difficult.

how can I convert the physical signal to digital signal?
for example, from flow of water, convert to voltage output.

I am confused your thread title says digital out but your post seems to imply you want an analog level out.

either way:
Look up flow sensors online many will have an analog output some may have a digital output. If you need to convert analog to digital they invented these things called Analog to Digital Converters for just such needs. You may find them abbreviated as ADC's.
