If an AC induction motor as it sounds, Not a good motor to attempt to turn into a generator.
The modern Washing machine variety fitted with the Fisher-Paykel outrunner motors are a much better choice.
Or any motor with a P.M. field.
What are you trying to produce?
Besides, that motor is only 1/4hp, so even if you could generate, it would not produce much power.
