How to change input voltage on DC-DC booster

I've recently purchased a pre manufactured DC-DC voltage booster from china it claims it can convert 8-32v however there are two input settings of which the default is 10-32V. Id like to change it to 8 to 16V as i need to run it off a small 9V battery. The only information i've got from the supplier is

"Input voltage: two input voltage range selectable, (jumper selectable through the back of the PCB, default setting 10-32V input): 1) 8V-16V input 2) 10V-32V input"

The back of the unit is as shown in the following image, id appreciate any information on how to adapt it.

Thanks in advanced!!!

A small 9V battery quickly drops to less than 8V then the booster will not work. If the current is fairly high then a brand new small 9V battery also will not work.

Energizer battery company shows in their datasheet of their 9V alkaline battery the voltage dropping to 4.8V. But the current is constant in their test. The battery current in your circuit increases as the voltage drops which causes the voltage to drop faster.
