Hitachi SR-604 Receiver.
Replaced numerous blown driver transistors and PO transistors, open low-ohm
resistors and resoldered many cold or cracked connections affecting both the
left and right channel.
I have the unit working now with great sound out of both channels, however
there is a slight discrepancy between the left and right idle current and
how they adjust...... not a smooth variance of idle current even with new
pots installed.
On the driver board there are two pots R731L and R731R
and beneath each pot are 2 test lugs labeled TP (+), TP(-),
...... obviously adjustments and test points for each channel.
Does anyone have the factory service information?.....
What is the factory specified of idle current or voltage?
I can make it work fine by guessing but I really am curious about the
correct setting.
