Hey Folks Building a Collector

I've been looking at all these high priced panels. $120 for just a
20watt panel. $500 for a 115watt panel. I'm a tinker, and would love to buy
a panel thats 3 inches by 3 inches or close to it. Yet have it produce the
highest amount of power. So about 4 of them would equal 10watts. Then just
keep adding to it. I know it would mean a lot of extra work. But I would be
albe to buy them more offten. Then saving up $500 for one big one. Which
would take me a month or two. Plus I'd have fun putting it togather. So
anyone know where I might find something like this?

These guys sell cells, if you are into soldering.

I think if you look at what you will be paying( $/Watts), you will be paying
way to much that way....

Thanx all for the help. Found some small 2.1 watt panels. For $10 each. Plan
to use them and build up. While saving on the electric bill on running
certin items off the system. I can save faster for a nice real big 115 watt.

Yes the math is good. But if you look most place sell a 10watt panel for
over $100. Doing it for $10 each to build up for a 10watt comes up to $50.
Most 45watts I've found cost over $300. So doing it in piece meal is easyer
for me.
