I got a Fujitsu x192 monitor with a horisontal linearity problem,
the picture is correct in the middle and will then increase in size
the more to left and right you´re watching from the centre in
picture, upper and lower areas are correct showed.
From what I´ve found out, this monitor is based around a Nokia
446C chassis? (on CPU there´s a note telling: 446C Calvin REV. v1.06A
- I think this tells the software vers. used in the monitor)
I´ve found all Nokias (445, 447 & 449) on the net, but nothing about
the 446C chassis, there is also a note on the HOT-heatsink: SMA235
Anyone of the pros. on this ng. have a schematic/sm or some info. on
what area to look in for the fault? (it seems that the CPU is feeding
the LIN1 & 2 in most of the other Nokia monitors, but I don´t wont
to take the monitor down in pieces without more info. on it)
In the service meny I could see that it´s only used for about 2500
hours - because it´s a Trinitron-based monitor I really would have
it up and run again. (service menu accessed via code: 7-7-1-1)
The focus is not perfect in left & right side, it goes better the
more you are coming to centre-position, could the fault be related
to both dynamic focus section and linearity section?
All other thing´s seem´s to work as they should on the monitor.
