The digital speedo portion on my cluster is inop. It comes on for about a
second and then goes off. These cluster are famous for going bad after so
many years. The number one cause is bad solder joints. I took the speedo
portion apart and check for bad solder points, none were found. I read
somewhere that there is a regulator (from 12V to 5V) somewhere and if it
goes bad it shows the symptom already mentioned. Is there anybody outthere
with schmatic diagrams for this unit??//
