Help! Specification Sony Camcorder 5-pin remote connector

Hallo,

I would need the pinout and the control codes for the Sony camcorder 5-pin
remote connector to control my old Camcorder CCD-V8AF externaly.
Unfortunatly I have not the Comander RM-84.
Looking for hours in the internet to get this information was useless.

Not really a subject for this group, but it sounds like you may be talking
about the S-Video connector. That's a pretty standard connection on DVD
players and a lot of other devices, so you should be able to find specs on
it. Do a GOOGLE on S-VIDEO or see what responses you get from one of your
many cross-posts to the

video groups.

Well if the answer is y e s you must look for a small blue connector labeled
LANC.
Try a search and you will find lot of info and some programs to control the
camera...

Not really a subject for this group, but it sounds like you may be talking
about the S-Video connector.

S-Video would be *4* pin Minidin: I think the OP is after info on a remote
deck control interface (for controlling the camcorder transport from an
editing suite or compatible VCR).
