Help needed - Amdeco 20P/ Napco 2WAY-UNIVKF

I have tried following installation instructions for an Ademco Vista-20P
and a Napco 2WAY-UNIVKF keyfob/receiver to no avail. I am trying to use it
in bus mode and cannot get the receiver enroll mode LEd to flash rapidly.
Is there something I am missing? Thank you in advance for any aid in
resolving this.

Are the "panel type" jumpers set correctly?

j3=off
j4=off
j5=on


The following procedure is used to enroll the unique RF ID number
stored in the non-volatile memory of each KeyFob into the receiver
memory.
1 Arm system from any keypad
2 Disarm system from any keypad
3 Press 1114, then [AWAY] on keypad
The Enroll Mode LED will flash rapidly.
The keypad may sound error beeps* - ignore.

The system configuration jumpers have only #5 connected.
My "Enrolling Keyfobs" (page 9) lists 1114 STAY (3 key) as the sequence to
get the Enroll Mode LED to flash rapidly, I tried 1114 OFF (2 key) but it
still will not flash. (Both codes entered after an are/disarm sequence)
Does the 20P have to be programmed in any manner to get to this
flashing step?

I tried 1114 OFF (2 key) but it
still will not flash.

The OFF key is "1" the AWAY key is "2"

Press 11142


Are you sure it's a Vista 20???
