I was referring to the capacitor value - 10μF, not ESR. Normally, Ceramic capacitors have values less than 0.5μF, though I have seen here and there a 1.0μF too. But not a 10μF.
10 µF is readily available in SMT provided you don't need a high voltage specification. Digi-Key's highest value is 680 µF at 16V rating. But ceramics are notoriously badly behaved. How about showing us the schematic diagram of where it will be used. We may be able to give useful advice then.
ESR is frequency dependant so unless your frequency matches the data sheet test frequency you will get different results. ESR goes down with an increase in capacitance. So if you can go up in capacitance your ESR will go down and then you might not need a special capacitor type.
