Help learning laser show basics

Hi,

The club where I work is considering getting a laser system. It's
a large club, which will handle about 3000 people. Right now
I'm trying to learn the basics of it all. Can anyone suggest some
good places to start, and/or other good discussion groups?

In particular I'd like to learn about regulations, and if someone
in the club would need to get certified to use the system etc.,
since that seems like one of the most basic concerns. We're in
the Atlanta, GA area.
