Hi, I'm new to this forum, but I've been working with electronics for a little while. I'm trying to build a circuit that can vary voltage output based on a mechanical movement. It will have 12V input with approx. 18A, and I need to vary the output from 0 to 12V evenly throughout the range based on the mechanical movement (using a pot maybe?). I've been looking at using PWM, but I'm still unsure on how to proceed. I'm also unsure how to handle the large amount of current. I've researched a little but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. Any help would be great!
