Help getting at Magnavox RPTV circuit boards? - model RM8540

I have a Magnavox RPTV (Model # RM8540 A103, Chassis # PTV382-A001)
whose red CRT cuts out intermittently. Diagnosis was simple (gentle
prodding with a long plastic pipe has diagnosed a cold-solder joint(s)
on the red CRT neck board), but how does one remove the set's front
panel to get at it?

Thanks! The front panel came off just as you described. The (obvious)
bad joint was on one of the pins of the heatsinked transistor. Problem
solved!
