ALWAYS be careful of that flat ribbon cable that goes to the LCD display, it's easy to misalign that and then the display won't work right.

These el-cheapo Chinese meters are impossible to repair... no documentation, proprietary and unidentified parts which cannot be removed and replaced. So why bother even attempting to do so? Just trash it and purchase a replacement for ten bux.
