Hi.
I accidentally cracked the PCB on an HDD while trying to put on a sata power connector.
The crack is around the 2nd or 3rd pin. I'm concerned the crack will break off part of the power pcb with the pins if I try opening it to show the damage. The connector holds together on it's own at the moment, making it look from a distance as if it's not damaged.
I was able to connect a power connector to it afterwards and it worked fine for many months so far.
The thing is, I would like to be able to fix this permanently, if possible.
Is this straight forward by using an epoxy glue or some other means or is the best solution simply to get an extender for the power and never remove it?
I would prefer not to use an extender, because this will make it more difficult to fit into a PC case.
