HC-SR04 using logic gates. possible?

Hello guys!
I need help designing a circuit using the ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 without using any micro controllers.
I need the sensor to stop a motor when reaching a fixed distance from an obstacle. how can it be done
with logic gates and amps? thanks.

Pulse width is proportional to distance, if you could design a trigger for specific pulse width, than its all.
