Bought a Hakko fx888d a year and half ago, used maybe 10 times. When I tried to power it on, it beeps when it's plugged in, but there are no display and factory reset does not work. It also beeps twice when it's unplugged. But there is no display and no heat.
I took it apart and the fuse is good, I checked the resistance of the probe and they all have continuity. I'm not sure what to do next. This feels really shitty, since my old walmart gun style soldering iron works still, and the nice new soldering iron is completely dead.
