Does a DSC832 have the possibility to be armed and disarmed by a GSM device?
In other words I send an SMS or similair to the device and the system is
armed and/or disarmed.

Could it also then sned me messages about changes in its condition?

If the DSC 832 cannot do this, can you tell wht system would?

Hi

I cannot answer the initial question regarding the DSC832, but our GSM unit
can tell you when it is set/unset. Also tamper, mains fail, and seven
programmable named zones.

In addition, you can send a text message to it to arm and disarm, and if the
panel it's connected to will accept a contact closure to set/unset, can be
used to set/unset the panel too.
