GCSE Course Work Project - Robot Vacuum Cleaner

Hi everyone, Jagan here.

About this project:

This is my school project, and i have to build a robot vacuum cleaner (not the vacuuming part, just the robot that navigates a room)

I am mainly going to be posting pictures and details of me making the robot, and my general thoughts on this.

Just to let you all know: i know only basic electronics, as far as a 555 timer, how the general components work, and not too much after that. So it is likely that my project won't be going into advanced level things, and i will be learning a lot along the way.

This can be used by anyone for learning. thanks for reading

It does not matter if you don't know too much in detail
Experts once a beginner. Obviously you will learn a lot along the way
And i hope and wish you that you will make a advance Robotic vacuum cleaner.

There are generally two ways for a robot to vacuum a room. One is to form a map of the room and to use this to navigate and ensure it is all traversed. The other way is to move about semi randomly, cleaning patches as it goes.

One is easier than the other.
