I am trying to understand how a small gauge i removed from a vehicle dash works. I see two winding which seem to be electro magnets and and gear which probably have magnets in it too. Can anyone suggest how to power this or suggest a circuit to make it work. Its for learning purposes only and won't be used in a vehicle dash again. I have a few so if i ruin this one its not a problem.
